Valve’s New Steam Controller Launches May 4 for $99

Valve's Steam Controller 2026 goes on sale May 4, priced at $99, putting it above PS5 and Xbox controllers but in line with what most hands-on reviewers expected. The redesign replaces traditional analog sticks with dual trackpads built to replicate mouse input, adds TMR-based magnetic thumbsticks with capacitive touch, and backs it all with HD haptic feedback. It works with any Steam-connected device including Windows, Mac, Linux, tablets, and the Steam Deck.
